Junior Griffin Datcher IV scored a career-high 18 points against Dubuque University at the Hoops in Hawaii Classis and has averaged 12.3 points per game while shooting 72.0% for men's basketball over the last four games. Datcher IV went 7-for-10 from the field and hit both of his threes against the Spartans. He added six rebounds for the Pioneers. When the Pios returned to Northwest Conference play after the first of the year, Datcher IV went a perfect 9-for-9 against the Whits. He hit all five field goals and shot 66.7% (4-6) from the free throw line for a team-leading 15 points against Whitworth. Datcher IV was one of five Pioneers in double figures (12 points) against Whitman and grabbed five boards with three assists.
