Freshman Owen Eisen earned his first collegiate victory in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against Puget Sound, showcasing an impressive performance. Eisen pitched six scoreless innings, managing to strike out three batters, issue only two walks, and gave up just three hits. Throughout the game, he faced a total of 23 batters from Puget Sound and delivered 96 pitches to secure the win. Puget Sound only managed to pose a threat twice, getting a runner into scoring position during the first and fifth innings. Eisen was particularly dominant in the second and third innings, retiring the side in order in both, and he concluded his appearance by striking out the final batter he faced in the sixth inning.
