Sophomore Elsie Chin posted three top-four finishes on Saturday at the Pacific Open. She finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a PR time of 1:08.49, moving from 20th to 15th in program history in the event. Chin ran as a member of the 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter Relay Teams, which finished fourth and second, respectively. The 4x100M Relay Team finished fourth in the day's first race with a time of 51.96. The 4x400M Relay Team registered the program’s fourth-fastest time in the event with a final time of 4:03.44. They were 0.03 seconds behind the winning team from Lane Community College in the field of 10 teams. The Pioneers are currently the 32nd fastest 4x400M Relay Team in all of Division III.
