Andrew Baum earned his first career All-Conference honors with a final throw of 44.95M (147-05 Feet) in the discus at the Northwest Conference Track & Field Championship Meet, securing a third-place finish on Friday. He significantly improved his personal record (PR) in the discus by 4.82M, moving up from 34th to 11th in program history. In addition to his All-NWC performance in discus, Baum also competed in the hammer throw and shot put on Saturday, scoring in all three events. He achieved a PR in the shot put with a throw of 13.52M (44-04.25 Feet), placing seventh and tying for 33rd in program history. Baum is the first Pioneer to earn All-NWC in the discus since at least 2006.
