Gina Ozuna batted .556 with 10 hits, seven RBI, and eight runs scored, leading Lewis & Clark to a four-game sweep over Puget Sound. As the leadoff hitter, she finished the weekend 10-for-18 with two doubles, two steals and a hit-by-pitch. Ozuna also tied the program record for doubles in a single season with 12. The sophomore hit safely and scored in all four games, delivering at least one RBI in three of the four contests. In the first game of the series, Ozuna went 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and a stolen base. She achieved a career-high and set a season record for the most hits by any NWC player in a single game during game three, going 5-for-6 with three runs, four RBI and a pair of doubles. In the series finale, she added three more hits, two runs, and an RBI.
