Buese ran the 14^th-fastest time in the history on NCAA DIII Indoor Track & Field in the 5,000M on Saturday afternoon in Boston. Buese crushed her own program-record in the event by 21.17 seconds when she crossed the line in 16:31.51. Her time is the third-fastest in NCAA DIII this season and she is one of just six athletes to have broken 17-minutes in the event this season. Her time is the fastest time in the event by a West Region student-athlete all-time.
