Sam Henderson scored 19 points while adding four rebounds and three blocks to help the Pioneers end a seven-game losing streak to Whitman on Saturday. The senior dished out a career and team-high seven assists to go along with 10 points on 4-7 shooting in a narrow 74-71 setback to No. 16 Whitworth the night before putting together his best weekend performance in NWC play this year. Henderson shot 7-12 from the field and 4-of-4 from the free throw line against Whitman to help the Pioneers earn their first triumph over the Blues since Feb. 8, 2020. Henderson's 19-point effort against Whitman matched his second-highest scoring output of the season.
