O’Leary picked up right where she left off in the circle. The softball junior struck out 15 batters and allowed just two solo home runs in 10 innings of work on Opening Day. O’Leary went 2-0 and limited host Pacific to five hits and two walks, while holding the Boxers to a .128 batting average. She struck out 10 over five innings in the opener and gave up just one hit – a solo homer. O’Leary came back in game in relief and went the final five innings in a 12-5 win.
