Senior Kai Wills and junior doubles partner Noah Sutin became just the second duo in program history to advance to the finals of the ITA Regional Championship. The pair rolled through four straight doubles victories, including 8-1 wins over Puget Sound and Pacific in the rounds of 32 and 16. They knocked off Whitman’s top-seeded team of Alexander Stage and Guillermo Rodriguez 8-3 in the quarterfinals, then edged Linfield’s Brooks Lerfald and Zac Nakajima 8-6 in the semifinals. Wills and Sutin have now been part of duos that have defeated Whitman’s top doubles team in each of the past three meetings dating back to last season, but this was the first time they did it together.
