Junior Sam Garcia raced up the Lewis & Clark record book Saturday at the Linfield George Oja Invitational. Garcia ran a career-best 24:44.10 to finish 33rd overall and climb from 30th to 10th on the program’s all-time 8K list. He has now posted top-50 times in back-to-back meets. Garcia improved his personal record by more than 43 seconds.
