Junior Bret Potter hit .474 over four games, collecting nine hits, three runs scored, three RBI, a double and a stolen base. He posted two three-hit games, tying his career high, and picked up two saves on the mound, also tying his career high for the season. Potter went 3-for-4 with two RBI, a walk and a save against Whittier on Friday, then followed with his second three-hit game Saturday at Occidental, finishing the doubleheader 4-for-9 with a run scored, an RBI and a double. He has hit safely in all three games of the current series and leads the team with a .538 average, going 7-for-13.
