Elise Barton led the Pioneers to a dual meet win against George Fox University on Friday night with three total wins. Barton won the 50-yard and 100-yard Freestyle events. She defeated five swimmers in the 50 Free with a PR time of 25.57, shaving off .24 seconds from her previous career-best. Barton’s second individual win was the 100 Free, where she edged out teammate Ella Stephan with another career-best time of 56.65. Her 100 Free time is the third-fastest time by a Pioneer this season. Barton, Stephan, Annabelle Rousseau, and Kiana Teh won the 200-yard Freestyle relay by almost nine seconds, touching the wall in 1:47.80.
