Mari Alvarez notched her 100th hit as a Pioneer on Saturday in the first game against Willamette. In five games last week, Alvarez hit .450 (9-20) with three doubles, two hit by pitches, a walk, and seven runs scored. In the four games against Willamette to finish the season, she went 6-13 (.461) with her 11th double on the season. Alvarez finished 2023 tied for first for 11 hit by pitches in a season, fifth with 11 doubles in a season, and tied for 15th with 40 hits and six home runs this year.
