Freshman Nathaniel Pi-Sunyer recorded his first collegiate goal on Sunday against Whittier. The midfielder scored men’s soccer’s first goal of the season in the 56th minute against the Poets, cutting the deficit to 2-1. 

Pi-Sunyer is the third men’s player to score a goal in a countable contest since the program was elevated to varsity status last season. He leads the team this season with five shots in four games, recording at least one attempt in each game. 

The score was Pi-Sunyer’s first shot on goal this season, making his shooting percentage and shot-on-goal percentage .200.
