Sophomore Kai Wills was one of three men’s tennis players to finish 3-0 in singles play and one of two to finish 6-0 overall in a tournament against players from Linfield and Pacific over two days this weekend. Wills played in Pod 3 for singles and went 2-0 on Saturday, including a three set win over Linfield’s Cameron Paulsen 4-6, 6-1, 10-7. Later that day he teamed up with freshman Noah Sutin to when there first doubles match in Pod 1 8-3. On Sunday, Wills completed singles play by defeated Pacific’s Dawson Hose 7-5, 6-7(3-7), 10-5. He and Sutin then won both their doubles matches by identical 8-5 scores.
