Sophomore midfielder Carli Driskill scored her first collegiate goal and the game-winner in women’s soccer’s 1-0 win over Pacific on Sunday. In the 75th minute of the game, senior Celeste Schreifels slid across the turf and pushed the ball toward Driskill at the top of the goal box. Driskill put the ball into the lower right corner of the net to put the Pios on top. She played the full 90 minutes for the second time in her career, tied her career high for shots in a game, and recorded a career-high for shots on goal (2). Driskill is second on the team in points (3) this season after recording her first collegiate assist a week earlier against Caltech.
