Senior Sophia Young capped off her four-year career as the primary goalkeeper for women’s soccer on Sunday, setting a new program record with 18 career shutouts in net in a 0-0 draw against Whitworth on Senior Day. Young tied the previous program record holder, Geena Fong (2011-14), at Linfield in a 1-0 win for the Pios on October 21. The senior hit another milestone in Sunday’s matchup, as she became the fourth Lewis & Clark keeper to record 200 saves in their career on her final save of the game in the 84th minute.
