Senior Silas Ticeson put up big numbers on defense in football’s 66-24 rout of Puget Sound on Senior Day. The linebacker recorded five total tackles (four solo, one assisted) and added three quarterback hurries. On the Loggers’ first drive of the game, Ticeson broke up a pass on a crucial third down play to force the visitors to punt. He recorded his first career sack, a loss of 11 yards, on the Loggers’ next drive, this time on a 3rd and 15 play to make it 4th and 26. Just before the end of the first half, Ticeson sacked Puget Sounds quarterback for the second time on 4th & 5 with 15 seconds on the clock to force the turnover.
