Senior Miles Voenell earned his best career finish at the NCAA DIII West Regional Championship Meet last weekend and helped the Lewis & Clark men’s cross country team earn a top-10 finish for the third time in four years. Voenell was the second Pioneer to cross the finish line with a final time of 26:02.1 and a 48th-place finish, improving on his 94th-place run from a year ago. He was in 79th place at the first checkpoint of the race but made up ground at every marker for his top-50 finish.
