Women's Tennis Picks Up Fourth Straigh 9-0 Win; Takes Down Pacific

RESULTS

FOREST GROVE, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark women's tennis team defeated the Pacific Boxers 9-0 on Friday evening to pick up its fourth straight shutout and sixth straight victory.

Aurora Garrison picked up another win from No. 1 singles, not allowing her opponent to earn a point, winning both sets 6-0. Olivia Cornell collected her fifth win from the No. 2 position picking up back-to-back 6-1 wins.

Gillian Lowe had her hands full in the opening set of No. 3 singles, fighting Lillian Do for a 7-5 win. Lowe bounced back in the second set to earn a quick 6-1 victory. Sophomore Lisa Osepyan took down Becky Sheller 6-3, 6-1 from the No. 4 position, while Izzy Borris collected a 6-1, 6-2 win from the No. 5. Olivia Sweetman made quick work of the No. 6 singles position, taking down Kelsey Lack 6-2, 6-2.

Doubles was no different for the Pioneers, who swept through their foes. Garrison and Lowe took down their opponents 8-3 at the No. 1 spot, while the Olivia's picked up an 8-2 win at the No. 3 position. Borris and Osepyan battled strong in the No. 2 position, earning an 8-5 win.
