HOW IT HAPPENED
Junior Charlotte Carroll scored a game-high 18 points and pulled down ten rebounds, while fellow junior Karli Mukai added 14 points for the Pioneers on Tuesday night.

Carroll recorded her sixth double-double of the season and eighth of her career. She accounted for over half of the Pios' field goals on 8-18 shooting. Mukai nailed three of the team's four three-pointers and had her 13th double-digit scoring game of the season.

Pacific's Brille Kovaloff scored a team-high 15 points for the hosts, and Sydney Gray grabbed ten rebounds as the Boxers held a 47-27 advantage on the glass.

Lewis & Clark junior Ashley Young tied the game at 3-3 with a shot from beyond the arc, and then the Boxers went on a 16-4. Carroll hit a jumper, and Mukai drove to the basket for a layup during the run. Pacific led 24-7 after one.

The Pioneers upped their defense in the second quarter, holding the hosts to 11 points and forcing eight turnovers. Young had three of the six Lewis & Clark steals in the stanza. Mukai and Carroll combined for all seven Pios' points, and the Boxers held a 35-14 lead at the half.

Senior Kendal Jones hit a jumper in the paint to end a Boxer 8-0 run in the third quarter. Junior Natalie Elstone scored all four of her points in the third. Pacific held their largest lead of the game, 58-26, at the end of three.

The Pios scored more points in the final quarter than they did the entire first half, as Carroll scored 14 of the team's 17 in the last ten minutes, and freshman Tatiana Rebanal added two points of her own. Lewis & Clark outscored Pacific 17-10 in the fourth quarter.
