Defensively, libero Reilyn Sabado anchored the back row with seven digs, and sophomore Ainsley Mochrie followed with five. Sabado and fellow senior Abigail Warrick each added an assist.

Lewis & Clark opened the match with one of its strongest sets of the season, erasing an early seven-point deficit and taking a late lead against the conference's top team. After trailing 14-7, the Pioneers used a 9-1 run that featured one of Schuett's two solo blocks and back-to-back aces from Meleán-Williams to move in front 16-15.

Jensen added two late kills as the teams traded rallies down the stretch. The set included 10 ties and four lead changes. The Pioneers earned set point at 24-23 on a Logger attack error, but consecutive aces from Puget Sound closed the frame 26-24.

Puget Sound's offense found its rhythm in the next two sets, hitting .366 and .290 while Lewis & Clark struggled to recapture its early form. Schuett tallied two of her three blocks in the second frame, while Meleán-Williams and Jensen each had two kills.

The Loggers carried their momentum into the final set, opening on an 11-2 run. San Diego and Warrick ended the stretch with a block on Mackenzie Leith, but Puget Sound's depth at the net secured the sweep.
