PARKLAND, Wash. – Lewis & Clark College men's basketball earned its first Northwest Conference win of the season with a 73-59 victory over Pacific Lutheran University on Saturday evening at Olson Auditorium.

Justin White and
Kody Uyesugi led the River Otters with 17 points apiece, each connecting on three 3-pointers.
Senior
Andre Treadwell added 10 points and pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds to record his third double-double of the season.

Taien Jackson finished with four points and a career-high 10 rebounds, tying Treadwell for the team lead. Sophomore

Lewis & Clark took control early, building a 4-0 lead in the opening minutes. The River Otters extended the margin to 16-7 with 13:46 remaining in the first half after a Uyesugi 3-pointer. Pacific Lutheran responded with a 15-2 run to take a 22-18 advantage at the 7:38 mark, but Lewis & Clark answered to regain the lead, 26-24, with 5:47 left following a White triple.
The River Otters carried a 33-28 lead into halftime after Arcan converted a fast-break jumper in the final 94 seconds of the half. Lewis & Clark shot 46.2 percent from the field in the opening period, while Pacific Lutheran was held to 35.3 percent.
The Lutes used an 8-2 run to take their final lead of the game, 36-35, just over three minutes into the second half. Lewis & Clark responded with an 18-2 surge to take a 53-38 lead at the 11:01 mark.
Pacific Lutheran did not seriously threaten the rest of the way. The Lutes cut the deficit to 60-47 with 5:35 remaining, but Lewis & Clark maintained a double-digit advantage over the final five minutes. The River Otters shot 55.2 percent from the field in the second half and held Pacific Lutheran to 28.6 percent shooting.
