• Became the second player in the DIII era to earn All-American as the team’s starting center fielder and main closer.
• Moved into a tie for ninth in program history with 19 career hit-by-pitch and 11th with 26 career stolen bases.
• Led the team with a .396 batting average, 67 hits, five saves and a 2.50 ERA.
• Set the program single-season record with 67 hits
• Recorded the 10th-best batting average in program history and tied for the third-most saves in a season.
• One of two players to start all 41 games this season.
• Third in the NWC in batting average, at-bats and hits, fifth in on-base percentage and eighth in stolen bases.  
• Pitched at least one inning in 12 of his 14 appearances on the mound.
• Reached base safely in 26 straight games, the longest streak of the season on the team.
• Finished with a team-high 22 multi-hit games and had multiple RBI in eight.
• Went 2-4 with four RBI, a run scored and a home run in game one against Whitman on Mar. 21.
• Was named NWC Student-Athlete of the Week – Player on Mar. 23.
• Hit 3-3 with three RBI on Apr. 11 against George Fox.
• Struck out a season-high three batters in two innings of work against George Fox on Apr. 12.
• Went 3-5 with three RBI and two runs scored in game two against Willamette on Apr. 26.
• In the NWC Tournament against Linfield on May 8, went 3-5 with a run scored, an RBI, a double and a home run.

• Made a big jump as a sophomore as he carved out a role as the starting right fielder and one of the team’s top relievers 
• Earned his first career All-Conference honors after improving his stats in nearly every offensive and pitching category 
• Finished the year as one of two players to start all 39 games 
• Placed fourth on the team in batting average, fifth in hits and second in stolen bases 
• Ended the year second on the staff in ERA and saves (two) and tied for seventh in appearances 
• Went 5-7 with a double, a walk and a stolen base in a doubleheader sweep of Whittier on February 16
• Earned his first collegiate save on February 22 in an 8-7 non-conference win over Willamette 
• Posted three hits in four at-bats, including two doubles, and chipped in a stolen base in a conference win over Puget Sound on March 30
• Picked up his first collegiate win on April 23 after allowing one earned run in an inning of work against Warner Pacific 
• Went 2-2 with three runs scored, an RBI, a double and a stolen base against Warner Pacific on April 23 
• Finished 3-4 with two runs, one RBI and a double in a win over Linfield on May 3

NOTABLES

• Appeared in 31 games and made 26 starts including serving as the team’s starting center fielder the second half of the season during his first year 
• Posted five strikeouts 
• Made four appearances on the mound and threw 4.1 innings in relief allowing three hits, five walks and five earned runs, while striking out five 
• Recorded a .982 fielding percentage with 55 putouts and one error in 56 chances 
• Started the season opener as the designated hitter and went 2-5 with a run scored, two RBI and a double and threw a scoreless inning of relief with a strikeout on February 16 in a win over Whittier 
• Notched a season-high three hits and went 3-5 on February 17 in a tie against Whittier
• Finished 2-4 with a run scored, two RBI and a double on March 2 against Willamette
• Went 1-3 with a run scored, two RBI, a double and two walks in a win over Vassar (GM2) on March 16
• Threw a scoreless inning of relief on April 9 at Linfield in a non-conference contest

At Lewis & Clark: Minoring in Public Health ... Serves as the secretary of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) ... Works as a Physical Therapist Aide and Screen Technician. 

Prior to the Pios: Attended West Ranch High School…Played club baseball for Storm Elite…Received 2023 All-Foothill League Honorable Mention…Led high school team in extra-base hits while batting .345 with a .418 on-base percentage and .901 on-base percentage and slugging percentage…Earned the Paul Hammons Memorial Award as the most inspirational senior on his high school baseball team…Was a 3x varsity letter recipient at West Ranch High School…Graduated Summa Cum Laude…Member of the National Honor Society and the California Scholarship Federation from his sophomore to senior years of high school.

Why Lewis & Clark?: I chose Lewis and Clark because I was in awe when I saw how beautiful the campus was. The campus makes it feel like I am part of nature, which I am very fond of. I also decided on L&C because I knew I would thrive in smaller classes. The final reason was that I knew the baseball coaches at L&C were going to treat me right.
