Chance Hansen joined the Lewis & Clark coaching staff in the Spring of 2026. He will work as a defensive assistant and focus on the team's edge players during his first season.
Prior to Lewis & Clark, Hansen spent 6 seasons coaching at his alma mater Wilsonville High School under Lewis & Clark alum Adam Guenther - who was a member of the 1991 Hall of Fame Team. In his time at Wilsonville, Hansen worked primarily with the defensive backs and wide receivers. He helped lead Wilsonsville to back-to-back 5A State Championships in 2023 and 2024.
Hansen received his B.S. in Social Sciences from Portland State University and currently works part-time as a special education paraeducator.
