Hageman finished Day Two tied for second in the field (71, Even) to move up eight spots on Sunday and lead the team.Ā

Lewis & Clark registered the second-highest team score (+23) on Day Two to finish the two-day tournament tied with host University of Puget Sound at +36. The River Otters and Loggers beat Whitworth (+37) by one stroke and finished just three strokes back of Pacific Lutheran University (+33) and six behind fourth-place Willamette University (+30).Ā

"The men battled windy tough conditions and incredibly unique greens," head coach
Brad Breier said.Ā Ā "On a very narrow course with not a lot of room to miss, they worked hard to give themselves a chance to move up at conference at Pumpkin Ridge in a couple of a weeks."

Hageman matched his best finish at an NWC event and earned his third career NWC top-10 finish. He carded an even-par 71 on Sunday with four birdies, four bogeys and 10 pars. After posting a bogey on his opening hole, Hageman notched seven-straight pars. He ran into trouble with back-to-back bogeys and three in a five-hole span. The sophomore bounced back with birdies on three of his final five holes and pars on the other two to earn a tied for fifth-place showing. Hageman wrapped up the tournament with a score of 145 (+3).Ā

Joonho Moon finished the tournament in a tie for 17
th. He shot an 80 (+9) on Sunday. The sophomore posted a two-day total of 151 (+9) after shooting an even par 71 on Saturday.Ā

Junior
Luke Blankinship finished second on the team on Sunday and third for the weekend. He notched a 77 (+6) on Day Two with three birdies and 10 pars. For the weekend, Blankinship posted a score of 152 (+10) to finish in a tie for 22

Mason Hill carded a 79 (+8) on Sunday to place fourth on the team. He placed fourth on the team and tied for 36
thĀ overall. Hill notched a score of 156 (+14) across the two days.Ā

Trae Fredrickson placed 45
thĀ overall. The first year shaved off one stroke from his Day One score to post an 84 (+13). Fredrickson recorded a two-day score of 169 (+27).Ā

BY THE NUMBERSĀ
- Linfield University won the NWC Spring Classic with a score of +11. Whitman College (+19) and George Fox University (+27) placed second and third overall.Ā
- Linfield's Douglas Bailey won the individual medalist title by five strokes. He carded a 68 (-3) on Sunday to finish the tournament at -3 (139).Ā
- The River Otters will enter the final NWC Championship in seventh place with an aggregate score of 74 strokes over par. They are within 15 strokes of fourth-place Pacific Lutheran University (+59), George Fox University (+61) and Whitworth University (+65). At the top, Linfield (+36) holds a one stroke lead on Whitman (+37) and three stroke lead on Willamette (+39).Ā
- Hageman placed tied for first in the field on Par 4s (3.95, -1) and tied for second in the field with seven birdies.Ā
- Moon wrapped up the tournament tied for third in the field with 24 pars across 36 holes.Ā
