Lewis & Clark Pioneers: Building Champions
The Lewis & Clark Athletics Department is committed to Building Champions through competitive athletics. We are Building Champions in the classroom, competition, character and community. Building Champions provides commonality throughout the athletic department and a shared vision, goals and expectations. Rare in NCAA Division III athletics are two members of the Lewis & Clark staff: Angela Dendas and John Corkle. "Coach Ange" is the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Lewis & Clark, giving the River Otters a dedicated individual serving as a resource and instructor to student-athletes and coaches in the realm of strength and conditioning. John Corkle is Ange's full-time assistant and helps ensure that a certified strength & conditioning coach is available to work with all of our student-athletes. She helps with injury prevention, rehab and proper training techniques for athletic success. Lewis & Clark Athletics looks for and values quality individuals who strive for excellence both in the classroom and as a member of a team. A Lewis & Clark education isn't like anything you could experience anywhere else. We're a private institution with a public conscience, a residential campus with global reach.
