Siena Flock scored her first career goal in the 32nd minute to lift Lewis & Clark College women's soccer to a 1-0 win over Whitworth University on Saturday at Whitworth Soccer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Flock scored her first collegiate goal at 31:11 off a cross from senior
Iris Stutzman for the game's only goal.
Lucia Barrón Núñez played all 90 minutes and made three saves to earn the win. She stopped one Whitworth shot in the first half and two in the second.
Stutzman created the River Otters' first chance in the 12th minute. Whitworth goalkeeper Karlee Roderick stopped her shot to keep the game scoreless.
Flock entered the game in the 27th minute and scored at 31:11.
Whitworth took its next shot 23 seconds later. Barrón Núñez saved Hailey Herboth's attempt for her first stop of the afternoon, and Lewis & Clark took a 1-0 lead into halftime.
The Pirates took six shots in the second half. Two reached the target during a three-minute stretch, and Barrón Núñez stopped both. She saved an attempt from Herboth at 56:16 before denying Andie Snell at 58:30.
Lewis & Clark forced another save in the 72nd minute when Roderick stopped senior
Mischa Vanek's attempt. Senior
Grace Smith sent a shot wide in the 86th minute, and the River Otters earned their only corner kick less than a minute later.
Whitworth's final attempt came in the 82nd minute when Kayla Santa Monica sent a shot wide. The Lewis & Clark defense did not allow another shot over the final eight minutes.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Flock's first career goal was also her first game-winning goal.
- Stutzman recorded her fourth career assist.

- Lewis & Clark has won two straight games for the first time since a three-game winning streak in 2024. The River Otters have also won consecutive NWC games for the first time since the 2023 season.
