Prior to Lewis & Clark: Attended San Marcos High School … played club soccer for Central Coast Academy – Santa Barbara Soccer Club … served as a team captain for both her club and high school soccer teams … also competed for her high school tennis team where she was also a team captain … named Most Improved Player and earned Second Team All-Channel League honors as a senior … helped San Marcos reach the CIF-Southern Section semifinals in 2024 … earned Channel League Champion honors in 2023 … member of the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation … earned the California State Seal of Biliteracy and the Community Service Excellence Award for completing over 200 hours of volunteer work … Mother, Lisa Valdez, played collegiate soccer at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
