Devon Guest returns to his alma mater as an assistant football coach in the Fall of 2025. 

Guest, who played football and track & field at Lewis & Clark, will work as the assistant wide receivers coach alongside offensive coordinator Mike Machado. 

In his first season working with the program, first year Sytyn Lasconia and senior Garrett Lee each earned their first career All-Conference honors. The duo each finished in the top-10 in the Northwest Conference in receptions, receiving yards and and receiving touchdowns and Lasconia tied the program record with four touchdown catches in a single-game. Lewis & Clark finished the season second in the conference in points per game (34.9) and yards per game (430.1) to help the program post their first above .500 season (6-4) since 2011

Guest is one of the most decorated wide receivers in program history and finished his career second in program history in career catches (174), sixth in receiving yards (2,348 yards) and fifth in receiving touchdowns (21). He played four seasons (2021-2024) with the program and increased his receiving yard total with each season. 

As a senior, he earned First Team All-Conference honors after posting new career-highs with 59 catches, 932 yards and nine touchdowns. He recorded the best game of his career on Homecoming of his senior year. Guest went off for eight catches for 236 yards and three touchdowns in a 51-37 win over Pacific University.
