Jani earned the award after winning her second collegiate tournament over the weekend. The sophomore finished first out of 50 golfers at the Pacific Invitational over the weekend. Jani won the Pacific Invitational by three strokes over George Fox University's Ashlyn Johnson. The Pioneers sophomore was the lone player in the field to post a round under-par. She shot a career-best 70 (-1) on Saturday to hold a two-stroke lead. She carded a 78 (+7) on Sunday to finish the two-day tournament with a 148 (+6).
