After a difficult Day One at Tualatin Country Club, six players improved their scores and a seventh finished with the exact same total, to help the team shave off 15 strokes from their score on Monday.

Evie Denton finished in a tie for seventh-overall to move up three spots from her finish on Monday. Denton posted the lowest score on the team both days. She notched an 85 (+13) on Day One and registered a 79 (+7) on Tuesday. She wrapped up the tournament with a score of 164 (+20).Ā

Ahika Jani came in just behind Denton. Jani recorded an 11
th-place finish with a two-day total of 167 (+23). She shot an 86 (+14) on Monday and improved by five strokes on Day Two to finish with an 81 (+9).Ā

Julia Klenk placed third on the team overall and tied for third or third on both days. Klenk registered an 89 (+17) to start the tournament and pitched in an 87 (+15) on Tuesday. She placed 16

Darwyn Kormany was one of two players who made their home debuts this week. Kormany posted identical rounds of 89 (+17) on both days. She finished in 17

Kimber Yoder was the fifth and final member contributing to the team score. She recorded an 83 (+21) on Monday. Yoder bounced back on Tuesday and finished tied for third on the team with a score of 77 (+15). She wrapped up the tournament with a score of 180 (+36) to finish tied for 18

Natalie Nuñez Lezama finished first among the team's three individual participants. Nuñez Lezama opened the week with a score of 100 (+28). She improved by more strokes than anyone on the team on Tuesday, when she turned in a career-low 88 (+16). Nuñez Lezama ended the tournament in 22
ndĀ place with a two-day total of 188 (+44).Ā

Lydia Schwenker placed tied for 23
rdĀ with a score of 202 (+58). Schwenker carded a +27 (99) on Monday to finish first amongst the team's individual entrants. She finished the tournament with a score of 103 (+31) on Tuesday.Ā

Lauren Raitanen posted the two-best rounds of her collegiate career on Monday and Tuesday. Raitanen registered a 114 (+42) on Monday and improved by three strokes on Tuesday to card a 111 (+39). Her two-day total of 225 (+81) shaved off 24 strokes from her prior best 36-hole tournament score.Ā

BY THE NUMBERS
- Nuñez Lezama, Schwenker and Raitanen all made their 2025-26 season debuts this week.Ā
- As a team, the Pioneers finished second overall on Par 3s with a scoring average of 3.57 (+17). The University of California, Santa Cruz led the field with a score of 3.50 (+15).Ā
- Raitanen (115) and Nuñez Lezama (89) each improved upon their previous collegiate-low round this week. Raitanen shot a 114 on Monday and a 111 on Tuesday. Nuñez Lezama posted an 88 on Tuesday.Ā
- Denton led Lewis & Clark and placed tied for fifth in the field in birdies (three), and par 4s average (4.54, +13). She also paced the team with her 15 pars (tied for sixth overall).Ā
- Jani finished tied for second in the field with her 3.17 average (+1) on par 3s. She was just one stroke behind Jiya Dalal of Santa Cruz who posted a 3.00 average.Ā
- Klenk tied for fifth in the field with her three birdies.Ā
