First-year goalkeeper Lucia Barrón Núñez recorded her first collegiate win and shutout Sunday, making three saves in Lewis & Clark’s 1-0 Northwest Conference victory at George Fox. Barrón Núñez stopped all three shots on goal she faced, including two after halftime as the River Otters protected a one-goal lead. She finished the opening weekend of NWC play with six saves across 180 minutes, a 1-1 record, one shutout and a .750 save percentage.
