Lewis & Clark College

Sophomore Owen Panu recorded two tackles, a 1-yard interception return for a touchdown and a quarterback hurry in Lewis & Clark’s 43-41 triple-overtime win at Whitworth on Saturday. After the River Otters’ opening drive ended on downs at the Whitworth 5-yard line, Panu and sophomore Cody Strozyk stopped running back Kurt Solano for no gain on the Pirates’ first offensive play. On the next play, Panu intercepted quarterback Logan Lacio at the 1-yard line and returned it for a touchdown, giving Lewis & Clark a 7-0 lead 6:40 into the game.
