Box Score TACOMA, Wash. -- The Lewis & Clark Pioneers (7-4-1, 5-3-0) hit the road for Sunday's matchup against the Puget Sound Loggers (11-0-1, 7-0-1) at Baker Stadium, losing 3-0 to the conference leader. The Loggers are undefeated with one tie on the season, taking home a win against the previously undefeated Pacific Lutheran Lutes last Wednesday to take the top spot in conference standings.
The Loggers outshot the Pioneers significantly in the first half, putting two goals on the scoreboard before the halftime break. Kylee Roath got the scoring going when she found the back of the net in the 17th minute of play, heading the ball into the goal off a pass from Misha Tasaka. The Pioneers found more offensive momentum in the second half, taking five shots to the Loggers three, but couldn't get past goalies Chaylea Tome and Megan Schellhase to even the score.
Grace Billings led scoring efforts for the Pioneers with two shots, while Sophia Young tended goal for the full 90 minutes. She made seven saves.

Key Moments
The Pioneers had a strong scoring effort to close out the game, taking three shots over the course of the 82nd-83rd minute. Elsa Horstead, Macy O'Hara, and Billings all had back-to-back shots on goal, which were saved by Schellhase to preserve the Loggers shutout.
