FRISCO, Texas—Three Lewis & Clark College women's golf student-athletes were named to the 2025-26 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team last week.

Ahika Jani and first year
Darwyn Kormany all were honored for the first time in their careers. The trio are the first Lewis & Clark golfers to earn the award since Lindsay Paquay was recognized in 2000.
Student-athletes are eligible for the award if they have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and played at least 50 percent of a team's rounds during the academic year.
Denton is a sophomore Rhetoric and Media Studies major from Rome, New York. The sophomore played in all 20 of the team's rounds and finished second on the team with an 81.25 (+9) round average. She improved her average round by 2.59 shots per round and posted six rounds in the 70s. Denton notched a pair of top-five finishes and four top-10 results. The sophomore shot a career-best tournament score of 154 (+10) at the California State Intercollegiate Tournament on September 15-16.
Jani is a sophomore Computer Science and Mathematics major hailing from Mumbai, India. The sophomore earned her second-straight All-Conference honors after notching the best round average by a Lewis & Clark player in over a decade. Jani shaved off nearly six strokes from her first season, as she posted a team-best 76.90 (+5) round average across 20 rounds of competition. The sophomore won the Northwest Conference Spring Classic and finished in the top-seven of the NWC Fall Classic and the NWC Championship. Jani recorded a career-best tournament score of 147 (+3) at the NWC Spring Classic to win her fourth event of the season.
Kormany is a first year from Kelowna, Canada who is still undecided on a major. The first year put together a strong first campaign that saw her compete in all 10 competitions. She finished fourth on the team with an 85.10 (+13) round average. Kormany notched the best round of her season on February 10 – when she shot a 76 (+4) in the second round of the West Coast Classic. The first year wrapped up the tournament with a career-best score of 163 (+19).
