Lewis & Clark College

Heien put together a big college debut as she led women's cross country at the Lewis & Clark Opener on Thursday. The freshman finished first on the team, fourth amongst Division III runners and 15th overall-with a three-mile time of 18:15.2. She was remarkably consistent, as she was in 15th place at the first and second check points and when she crossed the finish line. The Pioneers freshmen is expected to be one of the team's top performers this fall.
