Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. -- A season-low shooting performance hindered the Lewis & Clark Pioneers in Sunday's 63-50 loss to the Walla Walla Wolves at Pamplin Sports Center. A minus-18 differential in free throws didn't help either.
Walla Walla went 21 for 30 from the free-throw line and shot 36 percent from the field, while the Pios finished 8 of 12 from the line. Lewis & Clark shot 27 percent from the floor, its first game below 39 percent in the last four, and committed 25 fouls. Walla Walla was whistled for 16.
Peyton Romo scored 17, her most since the home opener on Nov. 10, and pulled in eight rebounds. Delsie Johnson went for 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Lewis & Clark led 28-26 at halftime and held a nine-point lead in the first half. Romo had 12 of her 17 points in the opening 20 minutes.
Walla Walla heated up in the third and hit 46 percent of its shots. Isabella Robles had nine points for the Wolves on the way to 22 with 12 rebounds. Johnson totaled nine in the third for the Pioneers, but Lewis & Clark shot 4 for 16 in the period, was outscored 22-14 and fell behind by six.
In the fourth quarter, the Pios were called for five fouls before the Wolves picked up their first. Walla Walla outscored Lewis & Clark, 15-8, and went 7 for 11 from the free-throw line. Coco Shafer hit the only two attempts the Pios had in the period and had two points, two rebounds, one assist and drew four fouls in the half.
After leading for over 17 minutes in the first half, the Pioneers (3-4) led for only five in the second. Walla Walla shot 43 percent in the final quarters, while Lewis & Clark hit 22 percent.
