Sophomore Ben Oates tied his 36-hole career-low score of 161 this past weekend at the George Fox Tournament. On the tournament's first day, he led the team with 10 pars to record his lowest round of the spring (82). On day two, he cracked 80 for the first time this spring and the fourth time in his career with a 79 (+8). It was Oates’ fourth-best round of his career and second-best of the season. On Sunday, he ended the round with a pair of birdies and four total for the day.
