Madilyn Palosi led women's basketball during its opening weekend road trip to Texas, averaging 14.5 points and shooting 54.5% from 3-point range in two games. Palosi erupted for a career-high 17 points in just 18 minutes off the bench, including 12 crucial points in the fourth quarter that helped erase a 13-point deficit in the season-opening win at Southwestern University. The sophomore guard, who scored just 19 total points in her freshman season, returned the next day and led the team against Concordia-Texas with 12 points after going 4-for-6 from the floor, all from beyond the arc.
