Miriam Reside won the 800 meters at the Lane Community College Open on Saturday to lead women’s track and field. She crossed the finish line in 2:26.71 to edge Southern Oregon's Alyssa Johnson by 0.13 seconds. Reside beat out 28 competitors to win the 800m. The junior also placed sixth in the 1,500 meters with a season-best time of 5:06.96 despite rainy, windy and cold conditions.
