Peter Ford earned his first career top-3 finish to help the men’s cross country team place second at the Ash Creek Collegiate Invite. The senior posted a career-best time of 18:38.68 to finish third overall on Friday. Previously, the senior’s best place in a cross country race was last season at Ash Creek - when he ran 18:40.7 for a 16th place finish. The Pioneer men finished second, just three points behind NCAA DII Western Oregon University. The Wolves were picked to finish fourth out of 10 teams in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference
