Lewis & Clark College

First-year Cody Strozyk earned his first all-conference honor with a third-place finish in the javelin at the NWC Championship Meet. Sitting sixth after the preliminary round, Strozyk delivered a season-best throw on his sixth and final attempt. His personal record mark of 59.69 meters (195 feet, 10 inches) moved him into third place. The throw ranks 25th in NCAA Division III this season and 14th in Lewis & Clark program history. His final attempt traveled more than 3.5 meters farther than his previous best mark.
