Senior Kate Meinhard, a captain for both the women’s soccer and women’s lacrosse teams, earned one of two Champion awards. In soccer, she started every game at center back, center forward and central midfield, finishing her career with five goals and one assist in 72 appearances. In lacrosse, the 2026 All-Northwest Conference Second Team selection scored her 100th career point at the University of Puget Sound this season. An inaugural member of the women’s lacrosse program, Meinhard holds program records for career ground balls (116), caused turnovers (71) and draw controls (214). She led initiatives for National Girls and Women in Sports Day, the Refugee Community Organization and PNW Native Lacrosse.
