Graduate student quarterback Sam Simril posted a career-best passing performance against Pacific Lutheran on Saturday. He went 32 for 54 for 430 yards and five touchdowns. Simril guided three long touchdown drives, starting with an 11-yard throw in the second quarter and adding two more in the second half as the offense pushed the pace. His 430-yard total ranks among the top passing efforts in Division III this season.
